According to the Mitchell Daily Republic, South Dakota has the highest rate in the nation for students pursuing post-secondary education.
The report, by the National Center for Higher Education Management Systems and the Indianapolis-based Lumina Foundation for Education, shows that South Dakota has a college continuance rate – the rate of high school students who go on to college or technical schools – of 68.6 percent.

See, Todd: we're not just like everybody else.
