The Intolerance of the Tolerant

According to the Sacramento Bee, some homosexuals and homosexuality apologists got upset by someone elses free speech. On the heels of the homosexuality promotion event "Day of Silence" in schools, some other students wore shirts to school which said "Homosexuality is a sin."

"We celebrate the multicultural nature of our school, and an anti-gay or anti-lesbian T-shirt we don't find particularly tolerant," said San Juan High Principal Dave Terwilliger.

We will not tolerate intolerance, the Leftist establishment declares! Views other than our own are intolerant and we will not tolerate intolerance.

Uh huh.

Court Getting Tired of ACLU's Lies About Religion

About time!

WorldNetDaily ran a story today about a 9-5 appeals court ruling in favor of a Ten Commandments display.

The original, three-judge panel of the appeals court upheld the display, saying the ACLU's "repeated reference to 'the separation of church and state' … [had] grown tiresome. The First Amendment does not demand a wall of separation between church and state."

Surprising that there area any judges left that recognize this, but welcome nonetheless.

Sadly, by this time, the lie has been repeated so often that it's commonly accepted in society to be true.

The idea that the United States was created to be Godless is absurd in the light of countless historical documents, not the least of which the one which gave birth to this nation by pointing to the truths "That all men are created equal; that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable rights" and "appeal[ed] to the Supreme Judge of the world...with a firm reliance on the protection of Divine Providence."
