Pro-family means supporting a loving, stable family. Regardless of what makes up that family.
My sister raise her three kids with the help of my mother. Had she been forced to remain with an abusive husband, the children would certainly not be as wonderful and productive citizens as they are now.
Dobson and his ilk don't know the TRUE meaning of family. A family is people a family is LOVE. Gay parents, single parents, multi-generational households all are wonderful families.
I'm sure Dobson would happily support Child Rapist marrying one of his victims and have children he can abuse. As long as the 'family' consists of one man/one woman, it doesn't matter how awful the individual is.
I'm afraid I have the same response here as to your last comment on another subject, Elias.
In order to have a family, you have to have a group related to one another by blood or marriage. And to have a marriage you have to have a man and a woman. Therefore, two homosexuals can't constitute family.
You may not like that, but it's just reality. You can call a zebra a lion all day long, but at the end of the day, that zebra will never roar.
And I'm reasonably sure Dr. Dobson wouldn't support a rapist marrying one of his victims. Unfortunately your animosity toward this man of God led you to say something you would otherwise know was silly, were you in a calm frame of mind.
Continually kicking against God's design will only hurt you, Elias. God loves you far too much for that, or for the incredible heartache and health risks that come with homosexuality. Come to God; he's waiting and eager to make your life better.
