It's happening again! A spouse attempting to have a spouse starved and dehydrated to death. This time it is in Arizona.
News reports state that on May 30th, Jesse Ramirez and his wife Rebecca were in the mist of an argument, when he lost control of the SUV they were driving in, which resulted in a roll over crash. Both were ejected from the vehicle. Jesse, 36, reportedly suffered critical injuries, which include a broken neck and head injuries, while Rebecca, 33, suffered only minor injuries. (Full Story)

Since there seems to be people who are eager to withdraw food and water from helpless patients, one requirement should be made. If the person requesting the withdrawal of food and water is willing to have food and water withheld from themselves for as long as it takes the helpless person to expire, then and only then could this draconian measure be considered. Food and water are NOT extraordinary means of keeping a person alive. Everyone requires food and water. Being helpless is not a reason to deny food and water. In addition, it says a lot about our culture (nothing good) to even consider this conspiracy between a doctor and a spouse to deny life to another. It can be dressed up in any terms, but it still amounts to the deliberate denial of life to another human being. There is another term for it and it begins with M.
I am so sick of this woman. She's like a broken record. Everything she writes is a mirror of her previous drivel. Doesn't she have any other topics? All she does is change the names

I for one think euthanizing human beings is a topic worthy of discussion as long as it's happening and as long as people are advocating it. Especially when a campaign of lies is launched to misinform the public, such as happened when Terri Schiavo was murdered.
But if you're happy with your head in the sand, and are willing to risk being euthanized if you're ever in a position where you can't speak for yourself, then just don't read Carrie anymore.
Its all a pile of garbage for one the wife , she was just basing a decision on what the doctors told her , that whole family on his side has made her an outkast its rediculous not one of them knows what happened in that car but they all want to call her a killer what ?? not , dont think so she has been hounded so much she cant visit her husband regularly and had to leave her house due to media coverage
