Supporting Hillary Clinton: When Some Catholics Sell-Out to the Abortion-minded

It's amazing how many Catholics are openly supporting Hillary Clinton -- a pro-abortion candidate! A candidate who brags about her pro-choice speech and thinks it is a plus to her worthiness as a presidential candidate.

What's up?

What's up with these Catholics that are flaunting their support of Hillary Clinton? Do they really not know her stance, or are they supporting her in spite of her stance, or are they actually supporting her stance? Hillary will, after all, no doubt use her influence to push the pro-choice agenda, should she make her way into the White House once again. So what are they thinking?

All that aside...

What were Catholics thinking to so proudly put Hillary Clinton in a parade meant to honor a "pro-life" saint? How insulting and thoughtless was that?

Does anyone care that it was?

This world has definitely entered the Twilight Zone where reality and reason are optional!

BEING PRO-CHOICE DOESN'T MEAN PRO-ABORTION!!! REALLY, YOU NEED TO GET A DICTIONARY TO FIND OUT THE DIFFERENCE!!! I'm Catholic, and supporting Sen. Clinton because she possesses the values of individual (having women educated to make the right decision, not an imposing by a gov't, which really isn't effective and doesn't work) & collective responsibility and actually acts out on those values. Obama & McCain lack some of the character and substance needed for POTUS.

VAintelliDEM, are you pro-choice about murder? Are you pro-choice about rape? Are you pro-choice about burglary?

When I was pro-abortion, at least I had the intellectual honest to call myself what I was: pro-abortion. If you want to keep it legal, you're for it.

VAintelliDEM, it would seem that you don't believe in the Catholic church imposing it's views or values on it's membership either. I mean, I certainly don't remember the Vatican shifting it's position from anti-abortion to pro-choice. Perhaps you could enlighten the rest of us that missed hearing either Pope John Paul II or Pope Benedict XVI issue this new proclamation?

When it appears that official Catholic organizations are openly supporting someone that is OBVIOUSLY pro-abortion (pro-choice, if you prefer), it is suggesting that the CHURCH itself is condoning this "pro" position. It is, in a sense, giving the impression that "permission" is granted by the Vatican, because many assume that the organizations wouldn't dare openly go against the teachings of the Church! There was a time this assumption would be correct, but apparently it no longer is.

Catholics (and those others that are influenced by the church's teachings) need to be aware of this discrepancy, so they may take it into consideration when deciding which candidate to support.

VAintelliDem, it sounds as though you are confused about what being a Catholic means.

The Vatican has affirmed twice that "pro-choice" is not compatible with Roman Catholicism (as is the case with most other Christian denominations).

"Americans, vote consciously!"
