Skippin' Church Not Allowed

Thanks, Denise, for the mention in your column.

Denise Ross of the Hog House blog provides a "Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy" of the South Dakota blogosphere in the Mitchell Daily Republic.

She has this to say about this humble blog:

Dakota Voice (dakotavoice.com): Evangelical Christians who read Dakota Voice might be allowed to skip church. It has everything, including a logo that incorporates Mount Rushmore, a pasque flower, a buffalo, a pheasant and a cross in the clouds. There’s a list of churches, a list of other Christian blogs, a long list of recommended current events reading and, oh yeah, blog posts.

Amid the ultrasound video and full text of President Bush’s speeches, you’ll find South Dakota specifics, including a recent post about the Rapid City School District’s lawsuit with a pro-life group.

Though I do take seriously God's admonition that His truth is to be paramount in every aspect of our existence (something I hope is reflected in the content of this blog), you'll get no permission to skip church from Dakota Voice. :-) Because I take serious, too, the admonition not to forsake church.

Thanks again, Denise!
