The Pro-Homosexual Vote in South Dakota

Equality South Dakota, a pro-homosexual activist group, and their PAC made it's first campaign contributions to South Dakota legislative candidates this year.

Equality South Dakota and their PAC seek the election or appointment of government officials that will further the homosexual agenda.

They made contributions to 12 candidates, 11 of whom had primary challengers. There were 7 Democrats in the primary and 4 Republicans.




On the Republican side:


Cory Landeen finished last of three for the Dist. 24 House race at 23.03%.

Thomas Nelson came out first of three for the single Dist. 31 Senate seat, so he's in for the Republicans.

Dick Brown came out third of five in the Dist. 30 House race.

Don Young came out fourth of five in the Dist. 30 House race.

So they got one out of four Republicans.



On the Democrat side (Gregory Kniffen doesn't have a primary challenger):

Caitlin Collier came in last of four in the Dist. 17 race.

Elaine Elliot came in second of three in Dist. 2 House, so she made it in for the Dems.

Kevin Killer came in first in the Dist. 27 House race, so he's in.

Larry Lucas came out on top in a three-way race for Dist. 26A House, so he's in.

Jeff Nelson came in second of three in the Dist. 33 House race, so he's in for the Dems.

Darrell Solberg came in first of three for Dist. 11 House, so he's in.

Martha Vanderlinde came in first of three for Dist. 15 House, so she's in.

EqSD got six of 7 Democrat picks.

Apparently support for homosexual activism plays a lot better in the Democrat Party than it does in the Republican Party. But then, that's no surprise.
