Hmmm. Now this is interesting.
From Jake Tapper at the ABC News blog, word on strategy for Hillary Clinton:
"Her securing the nomination is certainly possible - but it will require exercising the 'Tonya Harding option.'" the official said. "Is that really what we Democrats want?"
For those too young to remember, Tonya Harding was a figure skater in the early 1990s who became famous for her part in a conspiracy to whack one of her competitors, Nancy Kerrigan. She, her ex-husband and some others got somebody to smack Kerrigan in the knee so that her injury would clear the way for Harding to win a skating championship.
After the plot was discovered, Harding got in lots of legal trouble, and her life spiraled downward to sad depths.
So the scuttlebutt is that Hillary may pull a "Tonya Harding?" That's no surprise; I suspect the Clinton's have been pulling "Tonya Harding's" for decades with anyone who gets in their way. The surprise is seeing someone from the DNC admit it.
The unnamed official says Hillary will have to "break his back" and knock him out of the game.
Better watch your back, Barack.

Obama is not innocent. Hillary has to watch her back. Guaranteed the negative media coming her way is all from the Obama camp. Even the Reblican's are concerned about the issue of Obama and a media that supports him no matter what he does. Obama has created a lot of controversy over lying about Nafta, his ties to corrutption and how he got his house and who knows what other monies, his racist pastor who preached hate and racism, and Obama who supported it. Obama's wife who said she was never proud of America until Obama ran for Pres. People are in shock and fear about the corruption Obama is involved in and a media who continue to support him no matter what he does. The media don't appear to be learning. More and more people are fearful that Obama has pulled the wool over everyone's eyes, and hopefully something can be done to change the damage done by some in the media who promoted this candidate no matter what he did. This candidate promotes unity but has done the most to divide his party. I believe people are fearful and are hoping the media starts reporting responsibly about Obama. If the same stories were told about Clinton or McCain the media woudl be asking them to step down. That is what is allarming here and that is why people are following this. Obama seems to be off limits because of race and that is dangerous. No one will ever be able to question him. The media and America should really take a careful look at this.

Obama is the candidate who can unify this country. Voters can discern that he is honest. His race speech was as touching as the truth he spoke about his loyalty to his pastor. The media detroyed a man's 30 year ministry over sound bites and loops, this same pastor now has death threats against his life and his families life. The media ran Obama through the washer. Noboday asked Clinton to disown Ferraro, that is her friend and we all have dear friends who say things we do not agree with. Obama is exposing the deep fears about the integrity of the Clintons, they have a sense of entitlement to the campaign and were not prepared for this kind of uphill battle. SHe is the most prominent female in politics and yet the more we see her, the more we wish she would simply bow out NOW.
