South Dakota Taxes the Lowest in the Nation

Republican Tide points out that South Dakota has the lowest state tax burden in the entire country.

And while maintaining a low tax burden, we still have a good life here and our children get a good education--I haven't looked at the latest statistics, but in 2004 we were ranked 7th in academic achievement while 41st in per-student spending.

South Dakota is leading the nation in tax responsibility.

While liberals whine and gripe for more money to waste, the rest of us are enjoying the good life here in "God's country."
