The Gods of Liberalism Revisited

The lie hasn't changed, and we still fall for it as easily as ever.  But how can we escape the snare?

Senator Reid's Delicate Nostrils Saved by Visitor Center

The Most High Senator Harry Reid of the United States Senate says he welcomes the new $621 million U.S. Capitol Visitor's Center.

Apparently his sensitive olfactory organ has been suffering from being in close proximity to stench of the unwashed masses who come to defile the holy sanctum of the Capitol.

It seems the unwashed masses are good enough to pay for a massively-over-budget and years-late facility at the U.S. Capitol (one that also seems to ignore the faith heritage of our country...but then, can't have competing religions at the temple where the government-god is worshipped, can we?) but not good enough to set foot in the Holy of Holies. Only high priests of the government-god such as Reid should be able to do that.

Thank the government-god that we now have an appropriate distance between the unclean and the truly worthy. No longer will our capitol building be defiled by filthy commoners.

"My staff tells me not to say this, but I'm going to say it anyway. In the summer because of the heat and high humidity, you could literally smell the tourists coming into the Capitol. It may be descriptive but it's true."

Obama Drama Continues

Speaking just down the road a piece, Barack Obama defended his remarks in which he said that small-town Pennsylvanians are bitter and frustrated and that is the reason that they turn to concerns about religion and immigration:

"I said something that everybody knows is true, which is that there are a whole bunch of folks in small towns in Pennsylvania, in towns right here in Indiana, in my hometown in Illinois, who are bitter," Obama said in Muncie, Indiana. (Reuters)

Speaking at a closed San Francisco fundraiser earlier last week, Obama told the Bay Area elites that:

"You go into these small towns in Pennsylvania and, like a lot of small towns in the Midwest, the jobs have been gone now for 25 years and nothings replaced them…And they fell through the Clinton administration, and the Bush administration, and each successive administration has said that somehow these communities are gonna regenerate and they have not. And it's not surprising then they get bitter, they cling to guns or religion or antipathy to people who aren't like them or anti-immigrant sentiment or anti-trade sentiment as a way to explain their frustrations." (emphasis mine)

Every time Mr. B. Hussein Obama strays from the teleprompter we learn a little more about who he is and what he thinks. Obama has tried to clarify these remarks but I don’t think Americans, especially those who hold traditional beliefs, will soon forget this example of bigotry. It is not just Pennsylvanians that take offense at Obama’s comment. There are tens of millions of Americans in South Dakota, Indiana, Alabama, Texas and 46 other states who will see that he was talking about us. And he holds an opinion that is elitist and counter to many of the things that we hold dear and that were some of the fundamental principles that founded this God Blessed country.

Most San Franciscans Outclassed by Obama

"Obama Visits Billionaire Row"

Zombie is a resident of the bay area and somehow finds the time and intestinal fortitude to attend rallys, protests, and fairs in and around San Francisco. He then posts his reports complete with accompanying photos on http://zombietime.com/. In the past he has reported on the demonstrations and protests of the Marines in Berkeley, the Folsum Street Fair (Caution! Highly offensive material, but Zombie only photographed what was happening.), anti-war rallies, the “Stop the US-Israeli War” rally, and many other events.

There is a recent post about an Obama event that somehow didn’t receive much press nationally, or in San Francisco for that matter, as Zombie explains:

On April 6, 2008, Barack Obama visited the San Francisco region, zipping from event to event all day long, from one end of the Bay Area to the other.

What? you might ask. How did I miss that? If only I had known, I would have gone to see him.

Well, there's a reason you didn't know about it. Obama didn't want you to know about it. Because the events he was attending weren't for people like you.

They were for people with lots and lots of money, who use that money to gain access and influence with politicians -- especially politicians who might become president.
