Rapid City Area Legislative Results Coming In

Results are starting to come in for the Rapid City area legislative races.

Right now, in the Dist. 32 Senate race, Republican Stan Adelstein has a 1.84 percentage point lead on Independent Elli Schwiesow; incumbent Democrat Tom Katus is third, .76 percentage points behind Schwiesow.

Republicans Dreyer and Gosche are ahead in the Dist. 32 House race.

In Dist. 33, Republican Dennis Schmidt is ahead of Democrat challenger Dennis Finch 55-44. Both Republicans (Phil Jensen and Jacqueline Sly) are on track to win both House seats.

In Dist 34, Republican and former police chief Craig Tiezen is out in front for the senate seat with 68%, and both Republicans Lust and McLaughlin are on track for a win in the state House.

Finally, in Dist. 35, all the Republicans are looking good: Jeff Haverly for Senate, and Don Kopp and Mark Kirkeby for House.
