Here's one you probably haven't seen from your "objective" "mainstream" media: via Human Events, Rasmussen reports polling data finds the congressional approval rating at a record low: 9%.
One reason for the low result: 72% of voters think most members of Congress are more interested in furthering their own political careers, while 14% believe members are genuinely interested in helping people.
Even if you did manage to hear this interesting tidbit, let me reiterate something the "mainstream" media probably didn't point out in conjunction with the mention of the poll (even though they missed no opportunity to repeatedly point out who was in control of Congress in 2006):
Congress is currently controlled by Democrats; those "mainstream" Democrats, since the "mainstream" media indicates there are no liberal Democrats in Congress.
