Winter Soldiers are Cowards

For a group that's all hot n' heavy to have the media and others buy their repeat of John Kerry's treasonous and slanderous Winter Soldier farce, these guys are notably disinterested in legally standing behind behind their accusations.

They'd be more aptly named "Fair Weather Soldier."

YAF/HotAir correspondent Jason Mattera asks Winter Soldier II testifiers if they would sign affidavits.

Garbage journalism

Lame comment.

Interesting that Matteras didn't bother to report the number of testifiers who said, on the stage and in front of the camera, that they'd testify under oath. Interesting also that Matteras would call Winter Soldiers who've had the courage to serve in Iraq "cowards" when he himself wont join the military at all.

Thank you for your service, Sergeant. God bless you and all our military. This from a Vietnam vet, 101st Airborne, and father of a Marine just back from his second tour in Iraq (9th Engineering Support Battalion, Camp Falluja).

Actually, in this video, contrary to your comment, one person said he would testify under oath and the others either said no or would not commit an opinion. I didn’t hear the word “coward” anywhere in the video posted here.

I was a grunt medic in I Corp, near Phu Bai. In my 12 month tour with an infantry platoon I saw nothing that would classify as an atrocity. Yet, Kerry (four months in-country) and his “Winter Soldiers” (many who have been proven liars) claimed to have seen atrocity upon atrocity, most of which could never be verified. You’ll pardon me if I am skeptical of the claims of this current crop of “Winter Soldiers.”

Sergeant Lemieux, I'm also unaware if Matteras called any of the "Fair Weather Soldiers" cowards.

However, if you're referring to the title of this post, it was me who called them cowards.

If they're willing to malign the U.S. military and our soldiers, they should be willing to put those accusations on record. Since all but one in the video are reticent to do so (and I doubt the one who said he would is likely to follow through), they're cowards.

If they're afraid to stand behind their accusations, they're cowards.

When they're willing to go on official record, I'll be willing to listen. Until then, they're just a dishonorable rabble.

BTW, I'm a 10-year veteran.

Daughter of Vietnam Veterans, I appreciate your father's service to our country.

However, dissent, while a freedom we enjoy as Americans, is NOT the highest form of patriotism.

That would be standing with your country against a bloodthirsty enemy--something both sets of "Fair Weather Soldiers" have not done.
