On the eve of Thanksgiving, (unless we loathe our heritage) we traditionally remember the day of thanksgiving of the Pilgrims for the food they had and their survival in the New World.
This video revisits the founding document written by the Pilgrims who came to America on the Mayflower.
Hint: if you're thinking of taking the Dakota Voice poll in the upper right side of the blog, the answers are in this video.

Just playing devil's advocate here, but I wonder what the Native Americans who inhabited New England before we stole their land from them have to be thankful for?
You are indeed playing "devil's advocate," Anonymous 2:31. I'm going to answer you like an advocate for the devil deserves to be answered.
Are you an American, Anonymous 2:31? Do you loathe being one? Can you find anything worth appreciating about America? Or is it all just loathing for you?
Is it more uplifting, valuable and edifying this Thanksgiving season to meditate on all the blessings God has given us and all the good things God has brought about in and through America...or is it more uplifting, valuable and edifying to meditate on either real or false sins that may or may not have happened hundreds of years ago which no one can do anything about today? Is it better to ignore the good and focus on the bad?
If you are an American and are overwrought with loathing for yourself and your heritage, why don't you move to one of the morally pure nations of the world?
By the way, did we steal that land from the Native Americans? Or is that just a lie you've told yourself to make the loathing process easier?
