Candle Light Vigil for Saddam?

According to Reuters, the Iraqi government plans to hang Saddam Hussein at dawn for his crimes against humanity.

I wonder if the idiots at the South Dakota Peace and Justice Center will treat us to a candlelight vigil for the murderous dictator...

Hmmmm....Zero comments again....ever wonder why nobody comments on your rantings?....I'll guarantee you it's not because everybody agrees, it's because nobody care what you think.

How come you are not defending Sadam's right to life?

Thou Shall Not Kill.

not: Thou Has Lost the Right to Live Since Thou Killed, so Thou Shall Die.

No and's, if's, or but's about the commandments!

We are all hypocrits... and there are not different levels of hypocricy... not one worse than the next or better than the other... we are ALL hypocrits! So stop patting yourself on the back and degrading the "libs".

Be a true Christian and LOVE.

You libs are impossible to please. When I had the comments turned off, I was such a bad man for not allowing liberals a voice on my blog. When I turn them on and libs are either too scared to debate or simply don't want to embarrass themselves because they can't come up with a logical and coherent argument, then that's bad, too. Children and liberals: so hard to please. By the way, comments were turned off back when this was originally posted. You apparently care enough to not only post a comment, but to go back six months to look at this post. I thank you for your devotion and concern.

Saddam was a mass-murderer. The Bible says in Genesis 9 that when someone wrongfully takes human life, they should be held accountable by having their life taken. And the commandment is not to MURDER, not KILL; there's a difference, though I know it's hard for liberals to grasp. Capital punishment is reaffirmed in the New Testament as well. You can read about what the Bible says about capital punishment here and here

Christian love doesn't mean being stupid in the face of evil, and it doesn't mean disobeying the rest of God's commandments. Human life was created in His image; if we ignore the penalty He set down for its wrongful taking, we're showing disrespect for Him.

Executing Saddam accomplished several things: upholding God's commandment to place the proper value on human life, providing justice for the lives he took, and removed him as a threat to anyone else ever again.
